Polo Women’s Club hosting annual coat drive

POLO – The Polo Women’s Club is sponsoring its 4th Coat Giveaway from 8 a.m.. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Crossroads Community Church, 205 N. Jefferson Avenue, Polo.

Coats and other outerwear will be distributed free of charge on a first come, first serve basis.

Donations of new and gently used coats, jackets, hats, gloves and scarves can still be made through Oct. 31 at First State Bank Shannon-Polo, 211 S. Division St., the Polo Senior Center, 101 W. Mason St., and Polo Pharmacy, 111 E. Mason St.

GFWC Illinois Polo Women’s Club, organized in 1921, is a community-based service organization that makes a difference through volunteer service.
