Kevin Pollack Graces Raue Center Stage on May 15th!

On May 15th at 7:00 p.m., Raue Center for the Arts will welcome Pollack to its stage for An Evening with Kevin Pollack: With a Little Help from My Friends.

“This is my first ever cabaret-style show, which will feature songs that tell the story of music in my life,” explained Pollack. “My incredible band and I will perform Broadway show tunes, songs by Michael Jackson and Fleetwood Mac, some Motown, a little bit of everything. There’ll be a huge variety of musical styles, many of which we arranged. I’m excited for the opportunity to bring this amazing live show to Raue Center.”

Accompanying Pollack is Musical Director/Arranger Howard Pfeifer, Rick Demski on Bass, Andy Blanco on Sax and Danya Thompson on Drums.

Pollack initially rose to fame in Chicago by performing Joe Cocker’s With a Little Help From My Friends in the Black Ensemble Theatre’s “Men of Soul”. He also played Roger Ebert in The Black White Love Play (the Story of Chaz and Roger Ebert), and has been featured on the main stage of Ravinia Festival for Ravinia TV.

Pollack won two International Film Festival Awards for Best Music Video for his original hit “Man About Town” and its sequel, “Holiday.” Check out his two EPs (The NuTown EP, Vol. 1 and The Other Side) on your favorite music platform!
