Letter: No raise for sheriff

To the McHenry County Board:

On the sheriff getting a raise: No.

Not now, with our country in this terrible inflation, high taxes, high gas prices. Why don’t you put the question on the November ballot and ask if the people of McHenry County will vote for it?

Also, board members voted to get rid of ICE in the jail? Why did you do that?
