Letter: Supporting the reelection of Schaefer in McHenry’s 3rd Ward

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of the reelection of Jeff Schaefer as alderman of the 3rd Ward for the McHenry City Council. I have known Jeff since the early 1980s, and I can’t think of a better guy to be your alderman.

Jeff is the guy that will do anything for anybody and is the most passionate person about his town than anyone else I know. As a third-generation, lifelong resident of the city of McHenry, Jeff was first elected to City Council in April 2005. Jeff has always been community oriented and is very proud to be raising his family in and supporting a community and city he loves.

Near and dear to my heart as a parks and recreation professional is his service as chairman of the Parks and Recreation Committee. Whether it is volunteering to coach, helping with fundraising at school or passing out food to those in need, Jeff has always been eager to give back to his community and continues to be there to support and help the city he loves be a great place to live, work and play.

Support Jeff Schaefer for reelection as 3rd Ward alderman for McHenry City Council. You won’t regret it.
