Raue Center for the Arts names two board members as it marks 20th anniversary

Raue Center for the Arts added two board members, Jerry Trachlser, top, and Regan Shepley.

Raue Center for the Arts announced two new board members, Jerry Trachlser and Regan Shepley.

The announcement comes as the Raue Center marks its 20th anniversary, noting that its “engaged board members, enthusiastic patrons, the generous support of local businesses like Home State Bank, and a long-term lease that extends into 100 years and beyond” give it a stable foundation to build on.

Shepley is a partner with Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle in Crystal Lake and has been practicing law for more than 30 years, with a primary focus on the areas of construction, local government and general business, according to a news release.

“I am very excited and honored to be joining the Raue’s Board of Directors,” Shepley said in a statement. “The Raue impressively innovated its way through the pandemic – providing unique, high-quality performances and educational programming and reminding us all that during difficult times, art draws us together and sustains us.”

Trachsler is the president and CEO of CBD Electronics and former president of the Prairie Grove School District 46 board, according to the release. A longtime volunteer for Raue Center and the McHenry County PADS, Trachsler also is a musician.

“The Raue Center is a gem in McHenry County, bringing joy and happiness to our community,” Trachsler said. “I have been involved as a volunteer for quite a few years and am looking forward to adding whatever value I can to such a wonderful place.”
