Route 176 reduced to one lane at Glen Avenue in Crystal Lake for emergency water main repairs

Crystal Lake asks drivers to avoid the area due to traffic delays

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on East Terra Cotta Avenue near Glen Avenue from about noon to 7 p.m. Thursday to allow crews to repair a water main break, the city of Crystal Lake said in a news release.

East Terra Cotta Avenue is also known as Route 176 in that location.

Flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the work zone, according to the release. The city is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible because of traffic delays.
