Crystal Lake Elementary School District 47 kindergarten registration underway

Informational meetings about dual language program scheduled for Feb. 11 and 12

Online kindergarten registration for Crystal Lake Elementary School District 47′s 2021-22 school year is currently open.

Families can register their children online at the District 47 website, www.d47.org/kindergarten. To be eligible, a child must turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2021.

After registering online, families will receive information about how and when they need to provide an original birth certificate and proof of residency. Fees and student physical and immunization forms are not due at the time of registration.

Parents interested in enrolling their incoming kindergartener in District 47′s Dual language program must attend one of the virtual informational meetings to be held via Zoom, according to a news release.

The meetings are scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. in English and 7:15 and 8:15 p.m. in Spanish on Thursday, Feb. 11 and 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in English and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Spanish on Friday, Feb. 12. Zoom links will be posted on the district website before the first meeting.
