A Marengo native has joined Franks, Gerkin, Ponitz & Greeley as an associate attorney, the Marengo-based firm announced in a news release.
Eric C. Hendricks, who was born and raised in Marengo, obtained his undergraduate degree with honors from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where he majored in finance, according to the release. He worked for a few years as an accountant prior to attending law school.
He attended Loyola University School of Law and has been practicing law since 2019, according to the release. Eric has represented various municipal and private clients during that time.
Hendricks is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, McHenry County Bar Association and the Federalist Society, and is the vice-chairman of the Chicago chapter of America’s Future, an organization for “liberty-minded young leaders,” according to the national organization’s website. He also volunteers his time coaching Marengo Community High School’s wrestling team.
