Marian Central def. South Beloit 25-20, 31-29: At South Beloit, the No. 10-seeded Hurricanes upset the No. 2-seeded Sobos in a Class 1A South Beloit Regional semifinal.

Brooke Telmanik had 19 assists, two aces and seven digs, Mary Kate Hernon had 12 kills, three aces and eight digs, and Nola Midday added six kills and two blocks. Rut Navarrete had nine digs.

Marian will face No. 3 Christian Heritage Academy at 6 p.m. Thursday in the final.
