Peru library plans virtual, in-person focus group sessions

Residents will be asked what they want their library to do for community

As the next step in the Peru library’s planning process, Peru residents of all ages are invited to participate in small focus groups.

During the focus groups, residents will be asked what they want their library to do for the community.

The sessions are both virtual (on April 4 and 5) and in-person at the library (on April 6). Each focus session is about one hour long. Once registered, participants receive a confirmation for the session, along with a Zoom link if signed up for a virtual session, a few days before the registered session.

Register online to participate in a focus group at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PeruFocusGroups.

If you are unable to attend a session but want to give feedback, email Director Charm Ruhnke at perulibrary@perulibrary.org to arrange another way for feedback.

Residents do not have to complete the community survey to participate in a focus group. They can do one or the other or both. The community survey is available through Thursday, March 31, at https://perulibrary.org/community-survey.

The Peru Public Library is located at 1409 11th St., across the street from Washington Park. The library’s phone number is 815-223-0229.
