Peru residents will appear on TLC’s new series “You, Me & My Ex”

A pair of Peru residents will play a starring role in the premiere of TLC’s new series “You, Me & My Ex,” airing 9 p.m. Sunday, June 20.

Jerry Phlippeau and Jessica Rios are formally married and living together in Peru, which plays into the show’s theme.

“You, Me & My Ex” follows five couples who deal with an ex who is still intricately connected to their past partner and very much a part of their daily lives.

According to TLC, Jessica and Jerry met when he asked her if she would model for his company. The two of them have children together and raising them together in the same home.

“When Jerry decides to move his girlfriend, Kayeelovey, into the house, the balance is upset and Jerry’s relationship with each woman is put to the test,” TLC said of the Sunday’s premiere. “Kayeelovey must navigate sharing Jerry with his children and Jessica while Jerry struggles with balancing the extreme personality differences of both women, and the fact that Kayeelovey is around the same age as his oldest son.”
