IVCC hosts session to review transfer process

Scholarships, application process, financial aid among the topics discussed

Illinois Valley Community College’s Admissions Office hosts Transfer College Connection at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in Room C316.

High school and current IVCC students will connect with university representatives from Northern Illinois, St. Ambrose and Illinois State to review the transfer process.

“Students can start their college path at IVCC and this event will help them learn about transferring to our feeder universities,” Assistant Director of Admissions Aseret Loveland said.

Topics include scholarships, the application process, financial aid, student services, the transfer population, transfer resources, housing and student involvement.
