Oglesby flower shop to close

Lori Mudge, owner of Devine Florals Designs and Gifts, recently announced she will be closing her business at 110 N. Columbia Ave., Oglesby.

“With a heavy heart telling everyone this news ... we are retiring on Jan. 29,” read the Facebook post on the business’ page. “Due to the economy, rising prices to outrageous, staffing and many other conditions, we are retiring after 20 years in business and three stores later.”

The post thanked customers for their years of patronage.
