Katie Bates, Princeton, sr., S: The NewsTribune Volleyball Player of the Year led the Tigers to an area-best 29 wins and the program’s first regional title in 10 years. She led the area in assists (10.2 a set), ranked in the top 10 in the area in points (2.8) and aces (0.5) and averaged 3.5 digs. She was unanimous All-Three Rivers Conference East Division.

Emma Benson, Earlville, sr., S: Benson was the area’s most dangerous server, leading the area in points (4.2 a set) and aces (1). She also was a talented setter, ranking third in the area in assists at 7.8 a game. The unanimous All-Little Ten Conference pick helped Earlville to a share of the conference title.
Brynn Guelde, Earlville, sr., OH: Guelde was the go-to offensive weapon for the Red Raiders, ranking fourth in the area in kills at 3.1 a set. She also was a strong server, ranking top five in the area in points (3.2) and aces (0.6). She was unanimous All-Little Ten Conference.

Nakeita Kessling, Henry-Senachwine, sr., OH: Kessling was the area’s most dominant hitter this season, putting down an area-best 4.4 kills a set – 1.1 better than the No. 2 hitter. The unanimous All-Tri-County Conference pick also tied for fifth in the area in digs at 4.3 a set.

Lauren Martin, Mendota, sr., L: Martin made the switch from outside hitter to libero this season and turned into the area’s top defensive player. She averaged an area best 7.2 digs a set, which is 1.5 better than No. 2 in digs. The First-Team All-Three Rivers Conference East Division pick also tied for third in aces at 0.8 a set.

Madison Richards, Princeton, sr., MH: Richards was a strong presence in the middle for the Tigers as she put down 2.2 kills a set and recorded 0.5 blocks a set, which ranked top 10 in the area. The Second-Team All-Three Rivers Conference selection helped Princeton to a 29-7-3 record and its first regional title in a decade.
Allie Wiesenhofer, Fieldcrest, so., OH: The underclassman made a big impact for the Knights, ranking second in the area in kills at 3.3 a set. She ranked top 10 in the area in aces at 0.5 a set and also averaged 2.2 digs a set. Wiesenhofer was unanimous All-Heart of Illinois Conference.
