Kaitlyn Gibson smacked a two-run homer Monday to help the Cavaliers to an Interstate Eight Conference win in Maple Park.

Evin Becker had three hits and recorded the final out to earn the save.

Chloe Mitchelle picked up the win as she pitched 6 2/3 innings.

Erie-Prophetstown 2, St. Bede 1 (11 inn.)

Payge Pyszka allowed two runs [one earned] on four hits with five strikeouts and three walks in 10 1/3 innings as the Bruins came up short in a Three Rivers Conference East Division game Monday.

Marissa Boehm went 4 for 5 with a double and an RBI for St. Bede (6-4).

The Red Devils dropped a Three Rivers Conference East Division game Monday in Spring Valley.

Peoria Christian 3, Putnam County 2 (8 inn.)

Gabby Doyle went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI as the Panthers fell short in a Tri-County Conference game Monday in Granville.

Kara Staley took the loss in the circle for Putnam County (2-4).

Ella Goodrich went 1 for 2 with a triple and an RBI as the Knights fell in a Heart of Illinois Conference game Monday in Minonk.

Logan Humpage had an RBI double in the ninth inning to lift the Bruins to a Three Rivers Conference East Division victory Monday in Prophetstown.

Humpage was 3 for 3 with a run and an RBI for St. Bede (6-6), while Jayce Ladzinski doubled and drove in two runs.

Augie Weisbrock earned the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless, hitless relief.

Hall 6, Kewanee 1

Alec Bulak used his arm and his bat to help the Red Devils to a Three Rivers Conference East Division victory Monday in Spring Valley.

Bulak allowed one unearned run and no hits while striking out 11 batters and walking four. He also went 1 for 1 with two RBIs.

Trez Rybarczyk was 2 for 4 with two runs for Hall.

Putnam County 10, Peoria Christian 0 (5 inn.)

Drake Smith tossed a no-hitter Monday to lead the Panthers to a Tri-County Conference victory in Granville. He struck out seven batters and walked two.

Smith also went 1 for 3 with a double, while Dylan Busch doubled, scored three runs and had three RBIs for PC (10-3).

Fieldcrest 13, Heyworth 0 (5 inn.)

Landon Cook and Koy Allen each had three hits and four RBIs Monday as the Knights cruised to a Heart of Illinois Conference victory in Heyworth.

Allen also pitched a complete game for Fieldcrest (4-6), allowing two hits while striking out 12 batters and walking none.

Davis Sweeney went 1 for 2 with a run Monday as the Red Raiders lost a Little Ten Conference game in Serena.
