La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation selling freezer meals to raise money for ag-in-the-classroom programs

The La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation is selling freezer meals to raise money to continue its ag-in-the-classroom programs.

The freezer meals have 10 prepackaged meals. There are two options to choose from: option 1 serves four to five people for $181.80 and option 2 serves two people for $90.90.

The 10 meals are cheesy ham and potato soup, sausage breakfast casserole, cheesy chicken and potatoes, apple rosemary pork roast, creamy Tuscan garlic chicken, Mississippi mud pork roast, savory meatloaf, brown sugar hickory casserole, bacon caesar chicken casserole and BBQ pulled pork.

These meals are prepared at one of the Prep, Freeze, Cook locations in Central Illinois using fresh ingredients, no preservatives. The 10 meals will be in a box for easy pick up. There will be a drive-thru for pick up between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at the La Salle County Farm Bureau parking lot, 4201 N. Columbus St.

Orders are due by noon Monday, March 28. To order these meals, contact the La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation at 815-433-0371. The meals may be ordered with a check made payable to La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation or credit card.
