Firefighters from across the region responded to a fire Friday morning in the 100 block of Northwest Front Street.

Several fire departments, including Streator, responded to the scene of an abandoned building, across the street from the village hall.

The Illinois State Fire Marshal was at the scene Friday afternoon investigating.
