La Salle County sheriff’s office still seeking information on Rice death

The disappearance and death of Garnie Rice remains under investigation, and the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office still is accepting tips and information on the case.

La Salle County Sheriff Adam Diss confirmed Friday the probe continues into what happened to the 36-year-old, who last was seen Aug. 30, 2020, in Somonauk. His body was recovered Dec. 2, 2020, in Gary, Indiana.
