Wild Heart’s Boutique, 214 E. Main St., recently hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony with the Streator Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A love of all things free spirited is what inspired Deb Sergeant and her husband to open the boutique in downtown Streator, moving one door east from its original location in the city and succeeding Old Stogies Cigar shop.

Wild Heart’s was one of many businesses to capitalize on the city’s facade grant program, renovating its storefront. The store features clothing, accessories, fragrance and jewelry, among other items.
