Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force from the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 38-year-old Streator man 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of La Salle Street in Ottawa.

Mac Rideout was wanted on a warrant on a felony charge of domestic battery and battery. The warrant was issued from a domestic battery incident that occurred in January in Streator, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

Rideout was taken to La Salle County Jail and he’s being held with no bail.

Ottawa police assisted with the arrest.
