Ottawa City Rec Softball results

Here are the results from Ottawa City Rec Softball’s Monday Night Women’s and Tuesday Night Men’s leagues.

MONDAY’S WOMEN’S RESULTS

Danchris Nursery 6, Silver Slipper 2 (8 inn.): For Danchris (5-0), Megan Valvo, Lily Nanouski, Sarah Nanouski, Morgan Brandner and Dani Ortiz each had two hits. For Silver Slipper (3-2), Hannah Burks was only a home run shy of hitting for the cycle, with Malorie Kueteman and Jen Wren each adding singles in the loss.

Pineapple Escape def. Deer Park: The Pineapple Escape (2-3) saw Lindsey Gaworski lead the way with four hits. Sarah Shope, Malachi Staton, Ashley Downey and Rachael Newsome each had three hits. For Deer Park (0-5), Shia Bishop and Anna Eisert each had three hits, while Riley Bongartz, Tori Harth and Sydney Partridge each added two hits.

TUESDAY’S MEN’S RESULTS

The Outage 11, Hometown National Bank 1: For Hometown (3-3), Anthony Valvo went 2 for 2. Leading the Outage (6-0), league MVP leader Caleb Gould went 3 for 3 with a home run, his 11th. Matt Bowman, Nick Allegretti and CJ Norman all hit a home run.

Illinois Office Supply 6, Berta’s 5: For Berta’s (4-2), Jeremy Foreman was 3 for 4 with a home run. Trace Bergren added two hits, including a triple and a home run. Leading Office Supply (3-3), Nick Melvin went 3 for 3 with a double. Matt Feller and Evan Green each contributed two hits.

Manley/ Dan Le Music Services 18, Tony’s Butt Shack 3: Nick Harsted had a two-homer night, and Fielding Lockas and Kyle McLendon each added a home run for Music Services (5-1). Bailey Lehr added three hits, while Joe Frye, Nick Frye, Bryer Lehr and John Hiester each had two hits. For Tony’s, Jake Moore hit a solo homer. Tony’s falls to 0-6.

PetSmart 11, LHLAngels 9: For PetSmart (2-4), Kyle Sibert and Dustin Tellefson both went 4 for 4. Matt Leal and Jarred Sorenson each contributed three hits. Leading LHL (1-5), Kyle Kokrda, Dan Dillard, Tito Siebert and Zak Starks all had three hits, including a home run from Dillard.
