DuPage County reports 127 COVID-19 cases Monday, 1 death, 12.56% of population fully vaccinated

The DuPage County Health Department on Monday reported 127 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in the county, with 1 death, a woman in her 90s.

The county now has seen a total of 78,972 coronavirus cases including 1,275 deaths, according to the health department. The recovery rate among DuPage County cases as of Feb. 23 was 98.2%.

DuPage County has administered 314,940 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 116,619 people, or 12.56% of the population, are fully vaccinated.

By town, Wheaton has had 4,187 total cases, Glen Ellyn 2,975, Lombard 4,041, Villa Park 2,412, Hinsdale 1,341, Westmont 1,993, Darien 1,690, Woodridge 2,507, Downers Grove 4,067, Elmhurst 4,050, Warrenville 1,229 and Winfield 1,025. Addison has had 4,614 confirmed cases, Naperville 7,340, Carol Stream 4,161 and West Chicago 4,182.
