Grundy County deputies responded to an accident on Route 47 north of Dwight, according to the sheriff’s office Thursday morning.

Traffic on Route 47 is being rerouted at the intersections of Goodfarm and Scully Roads with Grundy County EMA handing the traffic control detail, according to Grundy County police.

The Grundy County Corner also was called to the scene.

Police asked motorists to avoid the area if possible.
