The Coal City United Methodist Church will host a blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 6805 E. McArdle Road in Coal City.

Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred. To donate, bring an ID, eat a good meal and be sure to drink plenty of water. One pint of blood can save up to three lives.
