VERNON HILLS – Hawthorn, a shopping center in Vernon Hills, will be collecting diaper donations to support families in need through Dec. 31.
Donations will be accepted in the Hawthorn Management Office on the lower level (near JCPenney) during regular business hours.
Diapers collected will be donated to Keeping Families Covered, an organization dedicated to providing some of life’s most basic human needs. Donated items will support residents in northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin.
The first 100 guests to donate an unopened package of diapers will receive a $15 gift card to Barbara’s Bookstore (one per person while supplies last).
