Plano police arrested Jesus Mendez, 33, of the 300 block of South Cook Street, on a warrant in his name after responding to a report of a suspicious individual at 11:04 p.m., June 2, in the 300 block of South Cook Street. Mendez was taken into custody and later released after posting bond with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.

Plano police arrested Benjamin A. Martinez, 22, of the 500 block of West South Street, Plano, on two warrants in his name from DeKalb County for charges of aggravated speeding and possession of cannabis after making contact with Martinez at 5:12 p.m., June 1, in the 500 block of West Route 34. Martinez was taken into custody and later released after posting bond.
