Oswego man injured, cited for reckless driving in NaAuSay Township crash

An Oswego resident was treated at an area hospital after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a crash at 8:38 p.m. July 21 on Grove Road near Walker Road in unincorporated NaAuSay Township, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

In a press statement, the sheriff’s office said the driver, Travis Wilkinson, 18, of the 0-99 block of Orchard Avenue, was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Upon being released from the hospital, police said Wilkinson was cited for reckless driving. He posted bond and was released pending court proceedings, according to the sheriff’s office.
