Juvenile victim treated for minor injuries

Plano police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Wednesday evening, Jan. 13.

In a statement, police said officers responded to an accident involving a pedestrian at 6:59 p.m. at the intersection of Route 34 and Hale Street.

After a preliminary investigation, officers learned that a female juvenile was walking south on Hale Street and crossed Route 34 in the crosswalk.

A vehicle traveling east on Route 34 struck the juvenile and did not stop to render aid. The vehicle, described by a witness as possibly a gray Chevrolet sedan, continued east on Route 34.

The juvenile was evaluated for minor injuries by Little Rock Fox Fire Protection District paramedics and released to her parents.
