Oswego hosted Romeoville in match play on Wednesday and put up one of its best team performances of the season posting wins at both the varsity and JV levels. The varsity now holds a 4-1 record while the JV squad is 5-0 on the season.
The Oswego varsity team average was 190 for the match and five Panther bowlers put up series of at least 500 (167 average). Lani Breedlove was the high bowler with a solid 656 series (219 average) on games of 230, 215, and 211. Every Oswego bowler posted at least one score of 190 or better including Breedlove, Evelyn James (245), Lexi Dellaca (198), Katelyn Watson (198 and 190), Savanna Jourdan (194), and Hailey Jourdan (191).
The Oswego JV team put up a 146 team average to win the match. Lily Ratledge led the Panthers with a very consistent 494 series (165 average) including games of 169, 163, and 162. Not far behind Ratledge was Sydney Kuntzman who rolled a 477 series that included a nice 201 in game two of the match. Amber Lymenstull (445 series) and Mac Donahue (414 series) were key contributors on the night while three additional Panther bowlers, Madi Watson, Grace Chivari, and Devonna Givens each bowled two games and finished with 282, 201, and 146 series, respectively.
