Elburn Lions Club to host annual fireworks show in July

ELBURN – The Elburn Lions Club will welcome back its annual fireworks show after the popular event was canceled last summer.

According to a post on the organization’s Facebook page, the show is scheduled for Saturday, July 10, with a rain date of Sunday, July 11.

The post states that the show “will be conducted with the health and safety of the public, our volunteers, the local officials, workers and guests foremost on our minds, and be conducted in compliance with village, county and state public health mandates.”

The Lions Cub is also making plans for Labor Day weekend in case the pandemic forces them to cancel the July show. More details are expected to be announced at a later date.
