Gino Zagorac threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout, and Merrick Sullivan blasted two doubles and three RBIs to help pace Benet to a 7-0 victory over St. Francis for the Redwings' first Class 3A sectional title since 2017.

Merrick broke a scoreless tie with a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning, while Jake Rifenburg allowed zero earned runs over eight-plus innings to help Benet get a 3-0 victory over Burlington Central in a Class 3A sectional semifinal.
