The Kane County Office of Emergency Management and partnering agencies will be conducting a training exercise in Fitchie Creek Forest Preserve in Elgin Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7.
The emergency management office did not describe the type of training in a Facebook post, but told the public that the exercise will include personnel in the area after dark and well as during the day.
No actual emergency exists, the agency said.
