Another canopy at a gas station in Cary has fallen over after the first one collapsed six months ago.

The second canopy collapse happened at the Marathon gas station, located at 8 E. Main St. The first canopy collapsed in December from the weight of the snow after it was initially damaged from a severe thunderstorm in August.

The convenience store at the gas station is still open.

Owners of the gas station and village officials could not be immediately reached for comment Saturday.
