The Kane County Coroner identified two people who died in a crash Saturday in the westbound lanes of I-88 in North Aurora.

Diego Nava Torres, 32, and Samatha Ortiz, 33, both of Chicago, according to a news release.

The preliminary cause of their deaths is consistent with multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle crash. The Coroner’s Office is continuing to work with the Illinois State Police in gathering more information before a manner and cause of death are determined.
