The Utica Knights of Columbus donated $2,600 to four local charities in the Illinois Valley on Thursday, March 18, 2026 at the Utica Village Hall. Gathered for the check presentation were (front from left) Ed Brown grand knight, Alice Buczkowski, administrative assistant for Horizon House, trustee Greg Anderson, Samantha McKee- Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator at Starved Rock Regional Center, Alicia Hughes Lighted Way assistant director of development, and Steve Harmon. (Back from left) Utica Knights of Columbus members Mike Brown, John Koehler, and Chuck Vorelis. Absent was Special Olympics. The money was donated through The Knights of Columbus Intellectual Disabilities Fund Drive, commonly known as the Tootsie Roll Drive, last October.
