Gov. JB Pritzker joined local dignitaries and community leaders in DeKalb on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the Meta DeKalb Data Center coming online. Once fully operational, the campus will house more than 2.3 million square feet across five buildings. The data center at 2050 Metaverse Way marks more than $1 billion investment in DeKalb.
