A battle of two high-ranked teams will clash at Prouty Field in Princeton. Host Princeton is ranked No. 4 in 3A and Rockridge is ranked No. 2 in 2A in the AP preseason poll.

Both teams went 6-0 in the abbreviated 2021 spring football COVID-19 season.

Kick off is 7 p.m.

Morrison at Newman, 7 p.m.

Peoria Heights is at Amboy-LaMoille, 7 p.m.

Bureau Valley will have to wait a day, having moved their opener to 5 p.m. Saturday vs. Riverdale due to a shortage of officials.
