Genoa teen completes Eagle Scout project at Genoa Cemetery

GENOA - A local teen and some volunteers worked together to complete his Eagle Scout project at Genoa Cemetery this weekend for Sycamore-based Boy Scout Troop 18.

Myles Kendzie and volunteers were out at the cemetery Friday and captured photos of headstones with coordinating GPA locations and uploaded them to BillionGraves App. The project will help preserve the community’s historical data and keep the gravestones searchable digitally for others.
