Malta Community Celebration to be held Saturday, June 12

MALTA – The Malta Community Celebration will be held in Malta 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 12.

The day will begin with the fire department’s pancake breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Malta Fire Department, 308 Jefferson St.

The Tractor Trot 5K will start at 9 a.m. and the Kid’s Fun Run will start at 10 a.m. Both will be held at Malta Lions Park, 409 N. Fourth St.

The Classic Car Show will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Old School Pizza, 507 N. Third St.

Music in the Park will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. in Malta Lions Park. The Relics will perform from 1 to 3 p.m. and Bossy Dog from 4 to 6 p.m. Tinez Tacos will sell food from 1 to 5:30 p.m. and Big D Hot Dogs will sell food from 3 to 6 p.m.

From 7 to 11 p.m., The Sensations will perform during a street dance next to Remington’s Gastropub, 102 S. Third St.
