The Sycamore girls soccer team defeated Rock Island Friday afternoon to win the Class 2A regional final at Sycamore High School.

Kessiah Purnell scored the game-winning goal in the 91st minute to help Plainfield East to a 2-1 victory over Kaneland, while Geneva had five different goal scorers to secure a 7-0 victory in the Class 2A Geneva Regional semifinals.
