Wyanet Historical Society to hold ice cream social following Memorial Day services

An ice cream social is planned 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Younggren Center, 102 W. Main St., Buda, to benefit the Western Bureau County Food Pantry.

The Wyanet Historical Society will hold an ice cream social following the Memorial Day services at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 29 at Wyanet Park.

The group will be serving barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream and a variety of homemade cakes.
