Derek Fetzer Named Senior Vice President Commercial Lending for Heartland Bank

PRINCETON — Heartland Bank and Trust Company announces Derek Fetzer as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending and Market Leader for its Illinois Valley region. Fetzer is leading relationship management and business development efforts for the business lending team in the Princeton and Peru communities. He is located at the 606 South Main Street office in Princeton.

With over 18 years of lending experience in the financial services industry, he has established relationships and provided business growth support in agricultural and commercial lending.

A bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, Fetzer is skilled in building trusted relationships and providing proactive business growth support for his clients. Supporting both the agricultural and local communities, he is a member of Rotary and serves on the boards of the Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, and Lovejoy Homestead Foundation. Fetzer makes his home in Princeton with his family where he enjoys coaching tee-ball.
