LaMoille woman dies in single-vehicle accident

MALDEN — A rural LaMoille woman was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident near Van Orin.

Janelle Geiger, 44, was pronounced dead after Bureau County deputies responded to reports of an accident at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at 2650 East Street near 2300 North Avenue, south of Van Orin. Preliminary reports indicate Geiger was ejected from the vehicle that was traveling southbound on 2650 East Street and left the roadway, authorities said.

The accident is under investigation.
