Mobile COVID-19 testing site set Feb. 9 in McNabb, Feb. 12 in Henry

Anyone can be tested

A mobile COVID-19 testing site will be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the McNabb Fire Station at 391 Route 89, and another 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Henry United Methodist Church, 225 Lincoln St.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has several mobile testing teams dispatched to various locations around the state each week to provide COVID-19 testing. Anyone can be tested, regardless of symptoms or immigration status. There is no cost to the individual for testing, but they should bring their insurance card if they have one. Insurance is not required. Specimens will be collected using a simple nasal swab. Drive-thru and walk-up testing both are available at most locations.
