Free COVID-19 testing set up Jan. 26, 28 in Princeton

Anyone can be tested regardless of symptoms

The Illinois Department of Public Health has several mobile testing teams dispatched to various locations around the state each week to provide COVID-19 testing, including a team at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton.

That team will be offering free COVID-19 testing 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Bureau County Fairgrounds, 526 Bureau Valley Parkway, Princeton.

Anyone can be tested, regardless of symptoms or immigration status. There is no cost to the individual for testing, but they should bring their insurance card if they have one. Insurance is not required. Specimens will be collected using a simple nasal swab. Drive-thru and walk-up testing both are available at most locations.
