Bears tight end Jimmy Graham goes on the reserve/COVID-19 list

Safety Tashaun Gipson officially ruled out of Sunday’s game

LAKE FOREST – Bears tight end Jimmy Graham will be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, coach Matt Nagy said.

Graham will be the third Bears player placed on the COVID-19 list in the past eight days. He joins running back Damien Williams and outside linebacker Robert Quinn on the COVID-19 list. Bears wide receivers coach Mike Furrey also missed about a week because of COVID-19 protocols.

Injury report: Outside linebacker Khalil Mack returned to practice Friday, signaling he should be good to go Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mack is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game because of a foot injury.

Mack played last week against Green Bay despite not practicing at all during the week.

The Bears have ruled out starting safety Tashaun Gipson (hip). Gipson didn’t practice Thursday or Friday.

Also questionable for Sunday’s game is return specialist Jakeem Grant (ankle), defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (groin), receiver Allen Robinson (ankle), linebacker Caleb Johnson (knee), tight end J.P. Holtz (quad), defensive tackle Bilal Nichols (knee) and defensive back Duke Shelley (ankle).
