Batavia police reports from Sept. 29-Nov. 24

• The rear passenger tire of a car parked in at JB Nelson Elementary School, 334 William Wood Lane, was reported damaged Nov. 19 by an an arrow. A local ordinance ticket was issued to David Skirmont, 57, of the 400 block Cleveland Avenue, Batavia, showed police where he shoots arrows in his back yard. Skirmont told police he would pay for the damage done to the vehicle, reports stated.

• SD Wheel, 1300 S. River St., reported Nov. 20 that tires and rims property were stolen. Suspects used the railroad tracks to take stolen items southbound towards Bond Drive, reports stated.

• Kevin P. Saunders, 32, of the 0-99 block of Wiley Lane, Batavia was charged Nov. 17 with driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound and improper lane use.

• A filing cabinet valued at $100 was reported damaged Nov. 18 in the 1400 block of Clybourne Street.

• Rogelio R. Ybarra, 33, of the 1200 block of North Washington Avenue, Batavia, was arrested Nov. 15 on a Batavia warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of criminal damage to property.

• Alexis N. Crump, 20, of the 400 block of West Ballarmine Drive, Joliet, was charged Nov. 15 with possession of adult use cannabis in a vehicle, transfer, possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor, driving without insurance and driving with a revoked license.

• A payroll check that was less than $500 was reported stolen Nov. 12 from a resident of Batavia Apartments, 1259 E. Wilson St. The check was cashed and the employer advised they will not issue another one, reports stated

• A black KHS Road bike with red handle bars and back rack, valued at $500, was reported stolen Nov. 12 from the 100 block of South Randall Road.

• Jackson M. Rein, 24, of the 2300 block of Bloomfield Circle, Geneva was charged Nov. 13 with battery.

• A package containing $35 worth of Legos was reported stolen Nov. 14 from a house in the 1400 block of Haines Drive. A doorbell video showed the suspect to be a white man wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket, white shoes and his face was covered.

• A resident of the 0-99 block of Saratoga Drive reported Oct. 22 that a woman extorted $300 from him after she said she would put a nude video on the internet if he didn’t pay. The resident told police that he engaged in verbal and nude video sexual activity on his cell phone, reports stated.

• A silver 2015 Mazda 6, four-door, was reported stolen Oct. 23 from the parking deck of River’s Edge Bar and Grill, 12 N. River St., upper level.

• The Logan Street Baptist Church, 908 N. River St., reported Sept. 29 that three no parking signs and a Black Lives Matter banner were damaged.

• Michael E. Nelson, 56, of the 3800 block of West Gladys Avenue, Chicago, was charged Sept. 29 with possession of a controlled substance.

• Cheyenne A. Stalker, 25, of the 1300 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia, was arrested Oct. 1 on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court.

• Kevon B. Craig, 29, of the 300 block of East Jackson Street, Joliet, was arrested Oct. 1 on a Batavia warrant on charges of felony aggravated domestic battery, and misdemeanor domestic battery which causes bodily harm, domestic battery physical contact, aggravated assault in the use of a deadly weapon or rifle.

• A wrist band blood pressure monitor valued at $21.59 was reported stolen Oct. 2 from Aldi, 451 N. Randall Road.

• Alma R. Marin-Bucio, 30, of the 700 block of Considine Road, Geneva, was charged Oct. 3 with domestic battery.

• An iPhone and cases valued at $1,500 was reported stolen Oct. 3 at Funway Amusements, 1300 S. River St.

• Tools and a tool bag valued at $150 were reported stolen Nov. 24 from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of East Wilson Street.

• Marcos A. Perez-Velasco, 33, of the 2200 block of Pepper Valley Drive, Geneva, was charged Oct. 4 with domestic battery.

• Three checks with a total combined value of $2,855 were reported stolen Oct. 4 from Lorlyn Apartments, 1034 Lorlyn Circle.

• Apple Air Pods Pro, valued at $300, were reported stolen Oct. 5 from the 600 block of Kingsland Avenue.

• An origami kit valued at $13.95 was reported stolen Oct. 23 from the 1200 block of Schiedler Drive, but was later recovered.

• A Mario hat valued at $12.59 was reported stolen Oct. 23 from the 1300 block of Schiedler Drive, but was later recovered.

• A cohesive bandage valued at $9.95 was reported stolen Oct. 23 from the 1600 block of Wagner Road, but was later recovered.

• Two yard signs – Black Lives Matter and Maura Hirschauer – were reported stolen Oct. 23 from the 400 block of Morton Street. The signs were valued at $1.

• Political signs valued at $60 were reported stolen Oct. 24 from the 500 block of Main Street.

• Seven political signs valued at $56 were reported stolen Oct. 24 from the 300 block of North Jefferson Street.

• A heating block hooked up to a vehicle Oct. 27 caused a fire at Mutz Landscaping, 1201 S. River St.

• Amazon boxes that were reported stolen Oct. 23 from the 1300 block of Kielion Drive were found in the street. The boxes contained a flat box lunch box and placemat valued at $33.98; computer cable valued at $10.99; Samsung laptop valued at $205.98; Halloween mask valued at $10; and a box of plastic face shields valued at $24.99.
