Time for our country to get back on track

To the editor:

Take a deep breath, count to 10, exhale.

Now, get ready to defend our democracy. It is being attacked by our very own president, Donald J. Trump.

It has surely been put to the test, and thank God the right man won. Someone said "Power corrupts, and absolute power, corrupts absolutely." That about sums up Trump and his administration.

It's time to get this country back on the right track. I'm sure Joe Biden and his administration are ready for that job. So please, Republicans, Democrats and independents, lets put aside our differences and work together for the sake of our country.

I know we can do this, because we have done it in the past. Let's bring honor, decency, and respect back to the White House and to our country.

The world is watching. Go U.S.A.
