Three people face felony drug charges after police raided a Streator residence at 8:05 p.m. Thursday and seized heroin, drug equipment and a loaded pistol.
Shawna R. Stevenson, 25, Bobby C. Richardson Jr., 20, and Godfrey C. Bennett, 30, each of Streator, were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver (heroin), the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team said in a press release.
Charges were filed after TRI-DENT agents recovered 26 jeweler’s baggies containing purported heroin weighting approximately 2 grams, a fully loaded .40-caliber handgun plus multiple scales.
The charge is a Class 1 felony carrying 4-15 years in prison. A further investigation into the handgun is being conducted, police said.
