Prep Sports Roundup for Monday, Sept. 21: Ryan Treacy, Benet golfers edge Metea Valley

BOYS GOLF

Benet 149, Metea Valley 153

Medalist Ryan Treacy's round of 35 paced the Redwing's dual meet win at Stonebridge Country Club. Quinn Shanley and Ryan Danegger shot 37s and Jack DiTrani and Ryan Farago 40s for Benet.

Glenbard South 166, Larkin 256

Medalist Nathan Heneberry shot a 39 to lead the Raiders at The Highlands of Elgin. Jack Michelson shot a 41, Brian Uvodich a 42 and Ben Kozak a 44 for Glenbard South.

St. Francis

Zach Mulhearn shot a 37, Daniel Rice a 38 and Michael Rourke and Kory Carlson each a 40 to lead the Spartans (7-1, 4-1 with a win over St. Edward.

GIRLS GOLF

St. Francis 169, Wheaton Academy 212, St. Edward 225

Medalist Katherine Lemke shot a 35, Katherine Lilly a 44 and Sarah Grivetti and Cameron Marr a 45 to lead the Spartans.

York

The Dukes came in second to Hinsdale Central in Saturday's triangular meet with Hinsdale and Oak Park-River Forest. Audrey Matias shot an 82, Elle Borchardt an 86, Julia Filosa an 88 and Macy Fries a 91 for York.
